Description
First Choice is currently working with an established International forwarder, the company has 35 offices based across the US, Europe and the Far East and are now looking to open an office in JFK to further strengthen their presence in the North East.



This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to propel their career forward and make the position their own.



The ideal candidate will have a commercial background and be familiar with the below:



- Managing current customers while developing relationships to grow customer base.

- Previous experience overseeing, on boarding and mentoring a team.

- Familiar negotiating space and rates with the companies agreed carriers from US Northeast air and seaports

- Led a branch at supervisor or Branch Manager level previously.

- An extremely good attention to detail to ensure all documentation is recorded correctly

- Be prepared to travel both interstate and overseas as required in the fulfilment of the role
