Job description
A Business Development Manager is immediately required for a large international freight forwarder based in Philadelphia.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling Air and Ocean freight and will be familiar with developing and maintaining new business.
This company have 150 locations worldwide and is involved across International Freight, Land Transportation and Parcel Services with an excellent operations team to support further growth.
Essential Duties:
- Prospect new customers through various channels, including phone, email, etc.
- Building and maintaining a customer network and hunting for new business
- Set and attend meetings with customers and prospects to grow current as well as new accounts
- Following up on leads from website and customer referrals.
- Travel as needed to build business.
