Ocean Export Coordinator - HYBRID/REMOTE - New Jersey - $55k - $65k + Bonus
* Must Have Ocean Export Logistics Experience *
First Choice are currently recruiting for an Ocean Export Coordinator for a rapidly growing company based in New Jersey. They have had exceptional growth over the last 5 years and are now looking to expand their team with driven individuals looking to take their career to the next level.
Essential Duties:
- Experience of Ocean Export procedures and documentation (A-Z).
- Problem solve outside of normal job functions to support clients.
- Negotiate rates with shipping vendors.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Book freight with carriers and consolidators and obtain freight rates.
- Ensure timely delivery to carriers consolidators, packing depots, costing invoicing and collection of correct charges.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- A high level of energy and a "can-do" positive attitude
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Cargo wise experience is preferred
